Job Description
basketballscotland are looking for a coach developer who can support and challenge coaches in their own environment, to positively change their coaching practice. The postholder will be able to build effective relationships with coaches and clubs and will attend club sessions, games and basketballscotland coaching events to support the development of coaches.

Reports To: Coach Development Manager (CDM)
Direct Reports: n/a
Budget Responsibilities: The CDM will control the budget
Key Outcomes
The main objectives of this role are:
- Deliver a bespoke coach development programme to positively impact coaching practice and behaviour and to improve the quality of coaching
- Improve the standard of coaching, leading to improved player development and improved standard of players
- Improve the standard of coaching, leading to an increase in the number of players participating in sessions where the focus is learning through fun.
