Badminton Scotland is the governing body for Badminton in Scotland, overseeing over 400 clubs across the country. Our vision is to be the biggest participation sport in Scotland by bringing people and communities together through badminton.
Badminton Scotland’s core activities include: creating and overseeing badminton events; operating a membership structure for clubs and individuals; developing coaching and umpiring structures; developing a competition structure for all levels of players; creating opportunities for volunteers; running a high-performance programme for elite Scottish players; coordinating schools and participation programmes, and being a central point of information and research for badminton in Scotland. We want to continue growing our sport and welcoming people and communities from diverse backgrounds.
