Disability Sport Regional Manager – West of Scotland
Salary Scale : £25,000 – £28,000 subject to experience
Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic team player who has a passion for inclusion and disability sport?
SDS, in partnership with sportscotland, is seeking to appoint a Disability Sport Regional Manager in the West of Scotland to lead the implementation, coordination and monitoring a strategic approach to sport for people with physical, sensory and learning impairments across the region.
The post holder will work in partnership with and support member Branches, sports clubs, local authorities, Scottish Governing Bodies of sport and other relevant stakeholders in disability sport to deliver inclusive opportunities and a coherent sports specific pathway. The post will be responsible for further developing existing sports structures and to support individuals to engage, participate and progress.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate proven experience of developing, implementing and evaluating sports development plans and programmes as well as knowledge of sports development pathways. This post is initially offered on
a two-year fixed term basis with expectation of extension with an office base in Glasgow.
