Our Junior Athletics Championship will be held at Grangemouth Sports Stadium on 7th June 2023.

SDS in partnership with scottishathletics are piloting a new SUPERteams format for this year’s event. Essentially there are two options for entrants.
- SUPERteams Event – all athletes do 3 events (a run, a jump and a throw) depending on their category. Participants undertake these events on rotation and participate as a team with every athlete scoring points. Medals will still be awarded for the top 3 in each category. It also includes a Team competition where every athlete wins points for their branch area.
- Championships – experienced athletes and club athletes can still select 3 events to undertake throughout the competition in selected events. However, we would anticipate most of the entrants would participate in the SUPERteams event.
Individual, branch and school entries welcome. If entering as a school, schools should set up or use an account using the school name/details on sds.justgo.com remember to select the correct quantity of ‘tickets’ relating to the number of athletes entering. This will then allow you to enter information for each athlete one after the other. Branches should be through the club entry tile. Only schools or branches may pay using invoice. Individuals should not pay with invoice.

Registration will open on 19th July by clicking on this link. Closing date will be 29th August 2023

The National Cross Country Championships will took place on 16 March back at Alexandra Park.
Despite the weather we were able to enjoy a brilliant spectacle of competition with over 150 athletes braving the rain to compete.

The SDS Junior Sportshall Athletics Festival was held at Grangemouth Sports Stadium on Thursday 2 March in partnership with scottishathletics and Sportshall. Thank you also to West Lothian College for their support.

During September and October 2021 we held our first ever Virtual Pentathlon. Over 500 athletes took part with some amazing performances recorded. Congratulations to all.
