Course Descriptors

Information

Our coach education programme offers opportunities for coaches, volunteers, teachers and others delivering sport and physical activity opportunities to participants with disabilities.

Courses can be tailored to suit your requirements. All courses (with the exception of our Senior Pupils Disability Inclusion Training and Disability, Identity and Sport) are aimed at those aged 16+.

Note: The audience for each course is denoted on the course descriptor heading by ‘T’ (primary/secondary teaching staff), ‘C’ (coaches), ‘V’ (volunteers), ‘P’ (people with disabilities), ‘S’ (leisure centre staff) or All (suitable for everyone).

Boccia Leaders Award (all)

Details of Boccia Leaders Award - 3-hour workshop, £400 per workshop for up to 24 learners.

Level 1 Award in Officiating Boccia (V)

Details of Level 1 Boccia Officials' Workshop - 7-hour workshop with assessment.

More than a Bell Ball – Vision Impairment Specific Workshop (T)

Details of More Than A Bell Ball - 2.5-hour workshop, £500 per workshop for up to 24 learners.

Working with Autistic Participants in Sport & Physical Activity (All)

Details of Working with Participants on the Autism Spectrum workshop - 3-hour workshop. £300 per workshop for up to 24 learners.

UK Disability Inclusion Training (All – including Senior Pupils)

UK Disability Inclusion Training descriptor. 2-hour practical, 3-hour and 6-hour combined workshops available for audiences of up to 24 learners.

Early Years UK Disability Inclusion Training (T)

Early Years Disability Inclusion Training descriptor. £300 for 2-hour workshop up for to 24 learners.

Education UK Disability Inclusion Training (T)

Physical Education Disability Inclusion Training descriptor. £500 for 2.5-hour practical workshop for audiences of up to 24 learners.

Severe and Complex UK Disability Inclusion Training (All)

Severe and Complex Disability Inclusion Training descriptor. £300 for 2-hour workshop for audiences of up to 24 learners.

Disability, Identity and Sport (P)

Course Descriptor for Disability, Identity and Sport workshop. For people with disabilities and those who support them. Free of charge.

Leisure Service Providers UK Disability Inclusion Training (S)

Overview of Leisure Service Provider Disability Inclusion Training - £500 for 2.5 hour workshop for up to 24 people.
