Scottish Disability Sport

The Annual Review for FVDS has been circulated and makes very interesting reading.

In June 2010 Sam Fisher’s mum took him along to a disability sports day at Tweedbank, near Galashiels.

Owen Miller from Dunfermline and West Fife AC has recently learned that he has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 7th INAS World Indoor Athletics Championships to be held in Manchester from 14 to18 March

Disability Sport Fife (DSF) is proud to be working with Glenrothes Strollers FC to develop football for players with a learning disability.  Glenrothes Strollers FC were recently recognised by the Scottish FA as the best community football club in Scotland. 

16 young people, from ten different schools across the city of Edinburgh, have been chosen to be volunteers at the Paralympic Games 2012.

The LOTHIAN DISABILITY BADMINTON CLUB was established on 19th February 2008 and has experienced continued growth and development since.

Defending champions Lochgelly High School launched their 2012 7-a-side Football League campaign with an undefeated performance in Series 1 at Kirkcaldy High School.

The 35th Fife Sports Festival for disabled people will be held across Fife during February and March. 

Highland Disability Sport is justifiably proud a young man who is a relative newcomer to Performance disability sport but within a short period of time he has made a massive impact.
